March buys

March was full of trips.
March was full of temptations.

Without further.. here's what went in the closet:

Purchased a navy blue striped top from Ralph Lauren's outlet for 17.99 USD.

A bright red top from MNG Mango for 14.97 USD
purchased at JC Penney's.

Also from JC Penney a striped skirt for 18.00 USD and the matching blazer 28.62 USD by Worthington, both on sale.

Another item from JC Penney was this navy blue polka dot
sweater by Liz Claiborne, on sale for 10.57 USD

Thrifted this Abbie Mags houndstooth print button down shirt for 4.45 USD

Also from the thrift shop a red and black striped Ship ´n Shore
button down shirt for 4.45 USD (I think it's vintage!)

Also thrifted, two head scarves by GAP for 1.45 USD - 0.72 cents each!

I picked up a magazine like clutch bag made by Sasha for 15.98 USD

Textile bracelets on sale at Walmart for 0.75 cents each.
They remind me of the very popular Cruciani bracelets.

Also from Walmart a black t shirt from Danskin for 3.96 USD.
Black t shirts are a must have.

I also visited TJ Maxx, I had to !
I picked up a pair teal sunglasses by Kenneth Cole Reaction for 12.99 USD.

Also in TJ Maxx I picked up a Half Circle Skirt from Saturday
(Kate Spade's cheaper line) for 16.99 USD.

I also picked up some necklaces from the Kate Spade Saturday line:
one blue and red made from rope and textile chain black and white
one, each for 9.99 USD.

As if it was not enough shopping, I also visited Zara, on sale.
Picked up this grey TRF top for 9.99 USD.

Then a blue, black and beige top from Zara Collection on sale for 12.99 USD.

Also a Chanel inspired extra large pearl necklace for 19.95 USD.

A leopard print Zara Basic blazer on sale for 19.99 USD.

A blue jumpsuit from Trafaluc Zara for 15.99 USD.

Another purchase was this acrylic Mafalda cuff for 4.00 USD.
I picked it up at San Telmo street market in Argentina.

To top it off, I also bought stuff on line.

Like this red monogram necklace via Etsy for 19.49 USD.

or these black suede sunglasses via Swell for 16.19 USD.

The total for the month of March was about 291.64 USD.

I am still looking for receipts...

March edits

I have not been home most of March,
so my edits have been kind of scarce.

But, I have been able to get rid of some belts.

Seven belts in total, most of these are worn out or just in bad shape.

Plus, they are taking precious space in my closet.

I continue to slowly edit the closet.

A necklace

A dress and many necklaces to chose from.

Forever 21 pleated pink dress - Moleca black suede shoes

So the dilemma: which one would you pick ?

I wore the dress twice, so i wore two of them...

Same as yesterday.
Well almost.

GAP jeans - H&M brown belt - Danskin black t shirt - Kenneth Cole brown shoes

I had the high hopes of sleeping in today..
that is until the phone rang.

Friday finally

I had been waiting for this day...
Jeans Liz Claiborne - Black t shirt Danskin -
Camouflage belt Zara - Black shoes Aerosoles
it's finally friday.
Just what I wanted,
a weekend - so I could *wink* rest.

Out of the suitcase

Even though I am back home...

Blue trousers Jones New York - Blue striped top Polo Ralph Lauren - Black flats Jessica Simpson - Blue vintage scarf

I am still living out of the suitcase I packed
three weeks ago.

Acrylic pairings

It's my first day back in the office after a little
over two weeks.

Red jeans Sweetheart Old Navy - Grey top Zara - Grey suede flats Zara
I decided to wear something simple and comfortable.

But chose to add some accessories.

It was with two items made of acrylic:
a monogram necklace and a Mafalda cartoon cuff.

Coincidentally they're both acrylic and
were recent additions to my closet.

Almost home

Today is my last training.

I will then, be only one flight away from home.

Even though I will spend half of my day in that flight,
I am just looking forward to it.

Pearl necklace Zara

Hopefully I will have an empty seat next to me.

I have been wearing variations of the same outfit.

Black trousers H&M - Black button down shirt Da Moda
Over and over...

Grey top Zara
These were outfits to go vintage shop hunting, flea market hopping
and antique market browsing...

Red blouse Forever 21
All of which were quite successful.

Evita and Testino

One of my favourite things during long work trips are weekends.

Museo Evita
No matter how tired I am, I try to make the most of it.

Black trousers H&M - Black button down shirt Da Moda -
Black flats Vera Wang Lavender - Vintage scarf
I usually work my way around having my weekends in Buenos Aires.
There is always something to do.

Bench at the MALBA
This time around, I chose two main places to visit.

The Evita Museum and the "In your face"
photograph exhibit by Mario Testino at the MALBA
(Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires)

I walked to both places, which took me about an hour,
which was well spent as I admired all the magnificent
buildings on the way… they remind me of Paris.

Buenos Aires never disappoints.

Continues to be one of my very favourites.

Buenos Aires meeting

I am half way through my trip.

It's already been over ten days since I left home.

I am still Buenos Aires for an important meeting.

I want to get it over with -
I am looking forward to the weekend :)
